Alexander Murch

Alexander joined Chancerygate in June 2026 as development director for Portugal, leading the firm’s joint-venture investment activities and expansion across the region.
Prior to his current role, he held a position as an investment associate at Mitiska REIM, where he led asset management initiatives, investment projects, and development schemes, since 2021. Before that, he was responsible for the research & consultancy department at Worx Real Estate Consultants, BNP Paribas Real Estate in Portugal. He has extensive experience across the full investment cycle, from sourcing, acquisition underwriting, asset management, project financing and delivery of development projects to disposal.

He holds a master’s degree in mining engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and a postgraduate in management from Nova School of Business and Economics, both in Lisbon, Portugal. Alexander is a dual Portuguese and British national and is fluent in both languages.
